UniSuper’s CEO, Terry McCredden, has been awarded the Fund Executive of the Year award after “demonstrating exceptional leadership in the areas of advice, investment management, risk management”.

 

“This is a coveted award and a well-deserved achievement,” said UniSuper Chairman, Chris Cuffe. “The award is designed to recognise outstanding leadership, innovation and achievement within the Australian superannuation industry and Terry certainly demonstrates each of those attributes. He is a leader among leaders.”

 

Mr McCredden took the role in 2008 and has overseen the creation of nation advice service for members and introduced an in-house investment capability. He was lauded for his effective and efficient management of the fund through the global financial downturn.

 

Mr McCredden was selected for the award by a panel of industry leaders and peers, and will receive a $20,000 education grant to study at an internationally recognised business school.
