Banktech Summit 2012

Tuesday 17th – Wednesday 18th July 2012 | Sydney Harbour Marriott Hotel at Circular Quay

www.banktechsummit.com.au

Today, with dramatic changes in business being brought about by the recession, one way to secure and grow your business is through reliability and capability of modern technology.

The banking and financial service industries have undergone radical transformations over the past decade largely due to technological advancements.  This has fuelled greater challenges as customers today are pampered with choices – they can change banks by just a click of the mouse.

As bankers, regulators and politicians struggle to understand the causes of the global financial crisis and try to figure out a way to help the industry recover and return to growth, the role of IT is, if possible, more important than ever. Banks are under tremendous scrutiny to quickly deliver leading-edge solutions to improve risk management, regulatory compliance, payments processing and invention of card payments.

ASX Accredited Listed Product Adviser Program

Despite the volatility inherent in the financial markets, investor demand for listed investments is growing. So too is the need for advisers to have access to the knowledge and skills to provide quality advice on listed investments.

The more you know about the types of listed products and the strategies behind their use the better you can help your clients take advantage of them. This is especially relevant in an advisory envrionment where a fee for services business model is driving the need to explore new investment options while effectively managing associated risks.

ASX, together with Kaplan Professional, offers the ALPA program to help you get a detailed understanding of the characteristics of listed products and learn how to apply listed products in a wealth management strategy.
