The City's Grants and Sponsorship Program supports initiatives and projects that build the social, cultural, environmental and economic life of the city. Through this program the City partners with the community and business to further the actions, strategic directions and vision of Sustainable Sydney 2030.
An exciting opportunity has become available in our Grants Unit. The role involves broad grant program management, preparing advice on a range of grants related issues, conducting question and answer sessions for the general public and developing contracts for organisations receiving a Grant or Sponsorship from the City.
We are looking for a Grants Officer who will contribute towards the coordinated delivery of the City's outgoing Grants and Sponsorship Policy including grant assessments, approvals, reviews, reporting and general administration of the online grants management system - SmartyGrants. You will have experience in managing a high volume of work, have an excellent attention to detail and the demonstrated ability to effectively work with a large number of internal and external stakeholders.
To be successful you will have:
An understanding of contemporary issues, trends and strategies in the provision of grants administration, analysis and reporting is also beneficial.
