With a large and diverse workforce and a reputation for a great working environment,Powerlink has a temporary, full time opportunity for an experienced Organisational Training Governance Advisor.
The Opportunity: The Organisational Training Governance Advisor designs, develops and implements procurement, contract and vendor management strategies to ensure the delivery of high quality training supply; consistent with the overall Organisational Training strategy and optimising return on investment.
What you will do:
- Design and develop the framework (incorporating performance criteria, processes, monitoring and reporting systems) for the review, ongoing management and optimisation of organisational training suppliers, services, contractual arrangements and resources.
- Lead and drive the implementation of the framework and as part of this, facilitate and deliver a significant review of current arrangements and supporting strategies (including managing vendor disputes) to realign with the new framework.
- Develop and implement a preferred organisational training quality and governance framework that incorporates the policies, systems and processes for the effective measurement, monitoring and evaluation of performance relative to compliance and return on investment. This specifically includes actively managing contracts with vendors to ensure performance.
- Drive the review and analysis of input for continual improvement across the Organisational Training function in respect of risk, financial value and opportunities to better leverage contemporary and innovative practices to deliver strategic and operational outcomes.
What will you need: You will need a degree in Business, Finance or Training; or a Diploma and equivalent experience. You will have demonstrated experience in the design, development and implementation of a robust training governance framework to support the service delivery of training within a large, complex organisational environment. You will also have current knowledge of suppliers and markets and the ability to apply this in the context of the organisation’s strategic needs, commercial priorities and procurement and governance framework.
