Development Contributions Plan Officer

 We are looking for a Development Contribution Plan (DCP) Officer to join the Finance & Procurement Department where you can utilise your strong analytical, time management and communication skills. 

 

 You will be responsible for creating, reviewing, reporting and monitoring of systems and process for operation of the DCP in a manner that complies with legislative requirements.

 

 As the DCP officer you will report through to the Financial Performance and Planning Coordinator and will work collaboratively with the Urban Planning & Building and Assets & Infrastructure Departments.  You will liaise closely with Government agencies, Developers and Building Surveyors across the municipality.

  

To ensure a high level of service you will have a:

 

  • Degree or diploma in a relevant field pertaining to development contributions
  • Demonstrated ability to understand the requirements and mechanisms for the creation and operation of Development Contribution Plans, including corporate asset management and financial management processes and systems
  • Experience in the development of statistical and financial analysis and income forecasting 
  • Excellent computer skills, including experience with Microsoft software, records management systems (CM9), Authority 
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
  • An ability to provide clear, consistent and professional advice to stakeholders
  • Experience in managing major projects and own work priorities to achieve objectives
