The City of Stonnington has a permanent full time opportunity for as Payroll Officer to join our People & Culture Team, in our modern and sustainable office on Glenferrie Road.
As a member of the Payroll Team, you will provide an efficient and effective payroll service to all employees in accordance with Council’s Enterprise Agreement, relevant Awards, Statutory requirements and policies and procedures. With high level literacy and numeracy skills, you will be responsible for preparing and processing the fortnightly payroll for approximately 900 employees.
You will have substantial experience working as a Payroll Officer or similar, with proven experience in working with and interpreting relevant employment contracts, Awards, Enterprise Agreements and Statutory/Legislative requirements. Additionally, you will have well-developed PC Skills, with knowledge of using Payroll Systems and the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Excel and MS Word.
