In this new permanent full time position within our Finance Department, you’ll provide critical financial analyst and reporting to support various programs within the organisation. First priority will be our Digital transformation known as ‘One Stonnington’, along with the Technology Investment Committee (TIC) and program sub-committees. Working cross-functionally with key stakeholders and departments of Council, you’ll play a key role in the timely and accurate costing of parent and child projects, mapping of capitalised projects and initiatives and development of net present value, pay-back and benefit realisation.
We’re going through some exciting changes at Stonnington and if you’re a motivated self-starter with demonstrated technical experience and strong financial management capabilities, we want to hear from you. With proven skills in translating data for decision-making, strong financial acumen and well-develop relationship building skills, you’ll drive continuous improvement with our Finance customers. A professional finance qualification such as CA, CPA or equivalent (or working towards) is required, with knowledge of the operations and requirements of Local Government Accounting highly desirable.
