REPORTING & ANALYSIS ACCOUNTANT

The Reporting & Analysis Accountant is responsible for the consolidation and reporting of financial data; preparation of monthly, quarterly and year-end commercial and financial reports; and, reporting of grants, contributions and loans in accordance with Council and legislative requirements.

The role also oversees Council’s financial reporting system, ensuring the integrity of financial information by developing and implementing appropriate procedures and internal controls.

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills to facilitate business partnering with key finance and operational stakeholders to develop and implement reporting structures.

Proven experience in finance with in depth working knowledge of relevant legislation, accounting standards, procedures and practices with advanced computer and financial system skills to ensure quality, timely and effective financial reporting and analysis.

Salary: commencing at $3122.60 gross per fortnight.
