Senior Project Accountant

Join one of Australia's largest infrastructure giants in the role of Senior Project Accountant.

Due to continuous growth and winning various contracts my client is looking for a seasoned Senior Project Accountant to join their team. Reporting to the Commercial Director and Senior Finance manager the successful candidate will be responsible for all the project accounting finances to meet management and statutory requirements.

Candidates who have worked with on large projects upwards of $100 million from a construction/services/property/facilities management background are urged to apply

Duties include:

• Preparation of monthly and quarterly project results
• Manage a team of three (two project accountants and accounts officer)
• Liase with Project Director, Project Managers and Senior Finance Manager regarding project updates
• Identify and implement business processes and improvements
• Conduct analysis, actual vs budget and estimates
• Managing all financial aspects related to projects
• Analyse project costing to enable preparation of forecasts
• Project cost and productivity analysis

Skills:

• CPA/CA qualified (essential)
• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Jobpac
• Proven track record of having worked on large projects to the value of $100million
• Strong business partnering skills
• A minimum of 4 years' experience in a similar role in a large company
