Payroll and Human Resources (HR) Support Officer 

About the role:

The Payroll and Human Resources (HR) Support Officer is responsible for providing effective and efficient payroll processing and general administrative support to the HR Unit.

Skills and experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in payroll processing (minimum 1 year).
  • Proven organisational and time management skills
  • Customer focussed, possessing strong communication and interpersonal skills

Key tasks include:

  • Process the fortnightly payroll for all staff in a timely manner with high accuracy and efficiency, in collaboration with the Payroll Coordinator.
  • Resolve payroll related issues and provide sound advice and assistance to staff in accordance with SQ's industrial instruments, policies and procedures.
  • Provide high level communication and customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide effective and efficient administration support to the HR unit.
