This is a permanent full time position within Council’s Finance and Supply Section. The salary range for the position is $70,432 - $83,991, plus superannuation.

The position is located in Grafton.

 The position of Assistant Financial Accountant (Compliance/Processing) (traditionally known as an Accounts Payable/Payroll Supervisor) reports to the Financial Accountant, and is responsible to ensure all payments made to Council employees are made in a timely manner and in accordance with Council’s Enterprise Agreement and Award entitlements, legislative requirements and Council’s agreed employment policies.

The position is also required to ensure all payments made to Council suppliers are made in a timely manner and in accordance with Local Government Financial Management Regulations and Council’s Internal Accounting Procedures.
