What you need to know...
About the role
The Revenue Team at Clarence Valley Council play a critical role in generating income to fund the vital services that Clarence Valley Council provide to the community. The contribution that the Revenue Officer (Rates Valuations) position makes to the Revenue Team is by way of ensuring that valuation changes are recorded correctly in Council’s rating files, and by assisting the Revenue Coordinator with the timely issue of Rates & Charges Annual Notices, Instalment Notices and Reminder Notices. The position plays a key role in ensuring that the team functions effectively and efficiently in its servicing of management, community and staff. To be successful in this position you need to have proven customer service and data entry skills and be highly organised and able to work in a team and autonomously.

This position is based at Council's Grafton office, however, this may change should business needs identify other work locations to be more appropriate to deliver our services in the future.
