What you need to know...

  • temporary full time - 70 hours per fortnight
  • salary - $60,782 - $72,483 per annum, plus superannuation
  • location - South Grafton

About the role

We are looking for a passionate and experienced professional to join Council's Finance and Asset Planning unit for a term contract of 24 months. Reporting to the Finance and Asset Strategy Planner, this position is responsible for ensuring the overall integrity of Council's infrastructure asset management registers by creating data integrity checking schedules, verifying data, data corrections and reconciliations to control accounts. 

Experience in a similar position is essential. Experience in Local Government or in other Governance positions will be of value to the successful candidate to meet the challenges associated with delivering services in an ever-changing and complex landscape. This position is located at Council's Rushforth Road Works depot, however, this may change should business needs identify other work locations to be more appropriate to deliver our services in the future.
