About the role
The Finance Officer processes financial transactions (AP, AR and corporate card) within Tourism and Events Queensland in a multiple foreign currency environment. The role ensures that all transactions are processed accurately and in a timely manner.

The Finance Officer will have exceptional customer service skills and the ability to engage with staff at all levels in Tourism and Events Queensland, including with our international offices.
The role requires a high level of interpersonal and communication skills with an open, direct and diplomatic approach, and the ability to foster productive relationships with internal stakeholders and external organisations (including suppliers, customers, Internal/External Audit and financial institutions.
TEQ requires an individual with an strong attention to detail, analytical and inquisitive mind, and the ability to apply the financial policies and framework of TEQ to their everyday work and provide guidance on the same to staff.
