  • The Magistrates' Court of Victoria (MCV) is a jurisdiction within the Court Services Victoria statutory authority and has a long history of providing justice for the people of Victoria in metropolitan and regional courts across the state.
  • The Court has 130 magistrates and 880 staff located throughout Victoria in 51 venues determining in excess of 300,000 cases per, equating to approximately 90 per cent of all cases that come before Victorian courts each year.  The Court aims to be an innovative, accessible and responsive court that provides service excellence to the Victorian community.

About the role

The Risk and Compliance Officer coordinates the MCV management responses related to the CSV Internal Audit program, any MCV internal reviews and other compliance related activities. This role is a focal point in supporting the Director Corporate Services in providing risk and compliance advice and support to the Executive Leadership Group, managers, program and project managers, and staff across MCV.

The role takes a lead in ensuring MCV meets its corporate governance and statutory obligations and requirements with a focus on quality assurance and business excellence.

About you

The successful applicant will be required to have knowledge and expertise in the Victorian Government Risk Management Compliance Framework and the Victorian Government Financial Management Compliance Framework.
