2 Year maximum term opportunity

Base salary $83,031 plus 15% superannuation

 

Icon Water is looking to fill the newly created position of Assurance Officer. This role is responsible for providing a range of assurance services to a program of work for Icon Water’s Business Transformation Program.

About the role

This role will be working with the Commercial and Assurance Manager to develop and implement project assurance, maintaining and updating assurance plans and standards for a range of projects as part of the Business Transformation Program (BTP). The successful candidate will need to drive best practice for project assurance, deliver a range of assurance activies, and analyse and communicate findings, trends and issues to ensure the BTPs success.

What are we looking for? (selection criteria)

The successful applicant will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in commerce, accounting, audit or similar.
  • Experience in project or financial accounting.
  • Knowledge in finance, commercial operations, assurance, risk and project management including project management principles.
  • Understanding of project management principles.
  • Experience in a quality assurance, internal audit or a governance role within a projects setting.

We are seeking candidates who enjoy working in a business transformation environment, have high level interpersonal skills and can engage, negotiate and influence a range of stakeolders to develop ongoing relationships that achieve positive outcomes. Candidates will need to be able to work in a complex, dynamic, fast paced environment where they will need to develop solutions to new problems and issues that may frequently arise.
