The NSW Government recently announced changes to the Safe and Secure Water Program, a $1 billion critical water and sewerage infrastructure program. The program ensures that regional NSW communities have access to high-quality, reliable and affordable water that meets modern environmental and health standards. 

To enhance the delivery and success of the program the NSW Department of Industry will be increasing our team of water professionals who partner with local councils and water utilities to solve critical water safety and security issues—whether the solution is new infrastructure, an upgrade or operational maintenance.

Various new opportunities are now available in roles related to:

  • program management,
  • financial management,
  • stakeholder communications,
  • urban water policy and planning,
  • water and sewage treatment specialists.

Locations include Central West, North Coast, New England, South Coasts, Southern Tablelands, Riverina and Sydney Metropolitan.
