Assistant Director Business Analysis


About the Role

The Assistant Director Business Analysis will lead AFSA’s business analysis activities in a design thinking environment to deliver a client centric approach to focussed business analysis. You will partner with key stakeholders across both business and technical domains to understand objectives, and ensure ICT delivery aligns with these objectives. You will lead the team to adopt agile development techniques to incorporate client focussed design and delivery. Your ability to lead a high performing team that develops a comprehensive understanding of client requirements will see you succeed in this role.

About You 
To be successful in this role you will have demonstrated experience leading a team of business analysts to design solutions that are client centric and meet outcomes at a strategic level. Your ability to achieve results and design enhancements to current processes will ensure delivery outcomes and success with application development initiatives. Your ability to develop productive working relationships and ensure effective stakeholder engagement will embed a collaborative agile environment. 

The successful applicant will be supported to undertake professional and career development with a range of tools available including Australian Computer Society (ACS) membership, access to technical training and certifications, and membership of relevant Government communities of practice or user groups.
