About Your Role

As a Senior Investigator you will case manage and undertake complex investigations and compliance activities, and make recommendations on appropriate courses of action to ensure compliance with bankruptcy and personal property securities laws. You will also be responsible for assessing complex offence referrals, preparing briefs of evidence and recommending appropriate course of action. You will play a lead role in educating members of the community on the role of AFSA and their rights under the Bankruptcy Act 1966 and the Personal Property Securities Act 2009. 

About You

You will have:

  • Experience in conducting complex criminal investigations and an understanding of litigation proceedings.
  • Investigative experience preparing witness statements, conducting records of interviews and preparing briefs of evidence.
  • Case management experience with the ability to achieve high quality outcomes
  • Knowledge and application of the Australian Government Investigation Standards (AGIS) is desirable.
