Junior Linux Administrator

About the role

As a Junior Linux Administrator, you will support the delivery, management and maintenance of AFSA’s Linux server capabilities. You will use your technical experience to assist coordination and implementation of software upgrades, patches and fixes on servers and middleware systems. You will also proactively maintain technical documentation for all ICT services, processes and procedures.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience providing middleware and application support in the Linux environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Windows Server technologies
  • Linux certification and scripting experience in Bash Shell, Ansible, Python or Perl
  • Good communications skills
  • Tertiary ICT qualifications will be highly regarded
