• $99,370 to $124,213 per annum plus 15.4% superannuation ($114K to $143K package)

The Australian Office of Financial Management (AOFM) is a specialised federal agency that plays a significant role in the Australian financial markets. AOFM manages a portfolio of Australian Government Securities of more than $850 billion and two investment funds totalling $17 billion. The AOFM operates within global financial markets in order to effectively achieve AOFM’s financing and portfolio management responsibilities.

AOFM is looking to improve data management and changes to our ICT. The successful candidate will implement positive changes to the AOFM’s structured database repositories. They will also contribute expertise to the data strategy, data governance, and use of business applications. This role will provide you with the opportunity to develop an understanding of the data and system requirements related to managing a portfolio of financial instruments.

Qualifications:  A certification (post graduate or vocational) in database administration or similar. Alternatively, a degree qualification in database systems, information science, computer science, or a related field.

Experience: Experience in a data or an IT-related field with a component spent in administering or managing databases. Exposure to data warehouse management and data governance is expected.

This position will be based in Canberra.  We will pay relocation costs for successful candidates.
