PROGRAM LEADER STRATEGIC FINANCE

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to support the achievement of a financially sustainable Council through provision of specialist financial advice and strategic financial planning.

This position leads Council’s Strategic Finance Unit, developing the Long Term Financial Plan, Council’s Fit for the Future performance targets and 10 year Resourcing Strategy.

The role will facilitate the development of Council’s Service Business Planning and be responsible for driving business improvement and innovation across the organisation.

Success in this role will require a professional with a high level of experience in strategic financial planning and CPA/CA qualification and/or degree in accounting.

You will have an ability to collaborate and partner with the Executive, senior managers, and a range of other internal and external stakeholders in an environment of ongoing continuous improvement and change, as well as the ability to lead, resource and manage staff.

Salary: commencing at $3879.21 gross per fortnight.
