What you'll be doing

To manage the budget, financial, cost and management accounting and financial reporting functions as well as providing expert analytical and development activities using spreadsheets, database and word processing tools.

The role is responsible for provision of advice and recommendations to the Finance Manager, Food/PSS and Linen Services and other key Executives of HealthShare.

  1. Strong analytical, organisational and conceptual skills, including the ability to analyse and interpret information from different sources to pro-actively identify issues and formulate pragmatic, business- focussed strategies to address them.

  2. Highly proficient problem solving skills and able to critically assess situations and achieve results with a proven capacity to prioritise and multi-task.

  3. Demonstrated interpersonal and relationship management skills with the ability to motivate and influence others to share ownership of financial goals by establishing credibility and trust.

  4. Strong business acumen and understanding of budgeting, financial, cost and management accounting concepts and procedures.

  5. Demonstrated expertise in financial and/or business management including the preparation of financial reporting for different stakeholder groups.

  6. Detailed knowledge of the practical application of financial management within a business setting and understanding the differences in terms of public and private sector organisations

  7. Demonstrated commitment to the provision of high level quality and customer focused services.
  8. Qualifications in Accounting and eligibility for membership of a recognised professional accounting body or progression towards the same.
