About The Role

The Chapter Lead/Employee Journey Expert (EJE) is a leadership role with responsibility for PTC’s Business Led Restructure proposition.  Key responsibilities include management and prioritisation of incoming work, leadership of the team, ongoing enhancement of the proposition to provide a better experience for end users and management of the project risks associated with restructures.  The role also has a delivery component, working on more complex projects with senior stakeholders.
 
This role is accountable for:
  • On-boarding and prioritisation of PTC Work Requests, allocation of team members to projects and management of the backlog
  • People leadership for the team e.g. recruitment, training, coaching, development, performance management
  • Driving initiatives to develop the Business Led Restructure proposition so it provides a better experience for people leaders and impacted staff, bringing a human centred design lens to the proposition
  • As part of the PTC Leadership team collaborating with other Chapter Leads around the delivery of the Business Led Restructure proposition
  • Delivery of complex Business Led Restructures involving senior stakeholders, this includes scoping work to ensure it meets ANZ’s approved Business Led Restructure proposition, providing people leaders with access to the PTC toolkit, tools and templates, educating them on the end to end process, and producing agreed documentation e.g. Role Impact Assessment and supporting specific aspects of the restructure e.g. Selection. 
  • Coaching people leaders during the restructure process, meeting with them at key milestones in the restructure, and responding to people leader questions
  • Ensuring employment risks are identified and effectively managed, escalating to Group Employee Relations where needed at a project level but also across the whole portfolio of Business Led Restructures.
  • Embedding continuous feedback loops and the ongoing review of the proposition to ensure that it is meeting the needs of the business and out employees
In a typical day or week, you will:
  • Reviewing incoming PTC Work Requests, ensuring proposed changes fit the parameters for Business Led Restructures, resource allocation and back log management
  • Coaching and developing team members
  • Monitoring team capacity and well being
  • Stakeholder management, working alongside business leaders to ensure effective delivery of Business Led Restructures
  • Working alongside other PTC Chapter Leads and Change Leads to resolve issues in their portfolio.
  • Ensuring approval processes are adhered to for all Business Led Restructures
  • Acting as escalation for projects risks for team members
  • Project delivery
  • Contributing to the wider PTC function and participating in PTC and TT&C ceremonies
  • Listening to feedback and applying a continuous improvement lens to processes
The key stakeholders you will engage with in order to fulfil your role purpose and deliver your accountabilities are:
  • People Leaders at all levels of ANZ, including senior executives
  • T&C Business Partners and Divisional Change Leads
  • Other teams within Talent & Culture, particularly Employee Relations, Joiners & Movers, Payroll & HR Operations
  • PTC Chapter Leads and other PTC team members
  • TT&C Squad and Talent & Culture colleagues
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
  • Experience leading a delivery function
  • Global restructure experience
  • Working knowledge and understanding of employment law as it relates to restructures
  • People leadership with a strong track record in developing and coaching others
  • Organisational change expertise
  • Stakeholder management skills at senior levels
  • Experience partnering with people leaders, coaching, influencing and challenging perspectives
  • Able to work collaboratively within a global team as well being an individual contributor
  • Knowledge of employment law in a range of geographies
  • Generalist HR background
  • Project management
